Espisode 3


Hello everyone welcome back to the third episode of “The Grand Palace”. I am your host again, Puttipat Siwachairot The Grand Palace is a podcast that represent about Thai attraction. I am today’s episode. I will represent about The Grand Palace of Thailand. Bangkok the Capital of Thailand has many places for tourist attraction you must visit. First thing I will talk about the Grand Palace is the place you can not miss it if you come to visit Thailand. The location of the Grand Palace is the center of Bangkok. The Grand Palace have many parts, The temple of the Emeral Buddha, The Out Court, Middle Court, The Phra Maha Monthien Buildings, The Phra Maha Prasat Buildings, Chakrit Maha Prasat Buildings, Inner Court and the Siwalai Gardens. The Grand Palace open for the public as a museum and they still have royal office inside as well. The king Buddha Yolfa Chulaloke(Rama 1) who building the Grand Palace or We call Phra Borom Maha Ractcha Wang in May 1782. He decided to move the city of Thonburi on the west side of the Chao Phraya river to the east side of Bangkok. It liked an Island we call “Rattanakosin” The king Buddha Yolfa Chulaloke(Rama 1) ,tried to build the layout of the Grand Palace same as the Royal Palace of Ayutthaya which was destroy in a was between Burma and Siam. Now a day The Grand Palace is still use for the ceremony of the monarch and open for the public museum, tourist attraction too.
